We named the firm Zero Tax on purpose. Zero is the goal, and every dollar a business owner keeps is a win. The tax code rewards owners who understand it and plan around it. Our job is to put that advantage to work for the plumber, the electrician, the painter, the roofer, and the small business owners who keep this country great.
Greg leads the tax and accounting work: law school, master’s in tax law, American Bar Association Tax Challenge Champion (2017). Every return that is filed here carries his review.

Trades and service businesses across Tampa Bay: plumbers, HVAC, electricians, painters, roofers, landscapers, and any company running crews and payroll. The owner’s personal return is part of the work. Owners who run several entities are common here, and we take the whole group together.
Bookkeeping, client accounting services, and business and personal tax returns. Monthly bookkeeping and the planning that comes with it are on one flat monthly fee. Getting you set up, and cleaning up prior years if they need it, is quoted once at the start so you see it separately
Hourly billing punishes you for calling your accountant. A flat fee pays us to answer, to keep the books transparent, and to plan for the long run. We only do well if the relationship lasts.
One flat monthly fee, set after we have seen the business and the state of the books. You get the number in writing, in a proposal you can read and accept online, before any work starts. For full service business accounts pricing ranges from $1,000 to $20,000 per month depending on the services delivered and work involved – no matter what we have you covered.
Same business day for anything quick. Within 2 business days for anything that needs real work behind it. A question asked in August gets an answer in August, not next April. A call placed on Monday get’s a response before Wednesday.
Now. A plan made mid-year still has room to work. A plan made in April is a bill from the government.
We run on QuickBooks Online. If you are already there, we plug in. If you are on something else, or on paper, moving you over is part of getting started and included in the monthly fee.
No, and it is the most common thing we see. We quote the cleanup up front so you know the cost before we touch it, then get the current year accurate and keep it that way.
Yes. Most switches happen mid-year, because that is when the problem becomes obvious. We pick up from wherever the books stand and take the handoff from there.
Last 2 years of tax returns, bank and card statements, payroll reports, and access to your QuickBooks Online file if you have one. We send a short checklist before the first working session and chase the rest ourselves.
We will answer or call you back within 24 hours.
